You utilize the References tab within the candidate record to monitor individuals who serve as references for the candidate throughout the recruitment process. All details about references are stored within the References tab for each candidate.
Creating a New Reference for a Candidate:
- Access the Candidate Record:
- Log in to the system or platform where candidate records are managed.
- Navigate to the specific candidate's profile for whom you wish to add a reference.
- Open the References Tab:
- Once you're on the candidate's profile page, locate and click on the "References" tab. This tab is typically found alongside other tabs like "Personal Information," "Resume," etc.
- Initiate the Action:
- Within the References tab, look for an option labeled "Action" or a similar term that denotes performing an action.
- Click on the "Action" button to reveal a dropdown menu.
- Select "Add Reference":
- From the dropdown menu, select the option labeled "Add Reference" or a similar command that indicates the action of adding a new reference.
- Enter Required Information:
- Once you've clicked on "Add Reference," a form or prompt will appear where you can input the necessary information for the new reference.
- Fill in the required details, which typically include the reference's name, contact information, relationship to the candidate, and any additional relevant information.
- Save the Reference:
- After entering all the required information, locate and click on the "Save" button.
- Ensure that all information is accurate and complete before saving.
- Confirmation:
- Upon successfully saving the reference, you should receive a confirmation message or notification indicating that the reference has been added.
- Verify Appearance on Candidate Page:
- Return to the candidate's profile page.
- Navigate to the "Reference" tab (or its equivalent) to confirm that the newly added reference appears there.
- Final Checks:
- Verify that all details of the newly added reference are correctly displayed.
- Make any necessary edits or adjustments if errors are detected.
- Completion:
- Once everything is verified and accurate, the process of creating a new reference for the candidate is complete.
